Advantage Testing SAT Q&A

The two main SAT sections are (1) Math and (2) Reading and Writing (sometimes referred to as “Verbal”).

The Math Test covers algebra, geometry and trigonometry, problem solving and data analysis, and certain advanced math topics.

The Reading and Writing questions represent one of four content domains: Craft and Structure (measuring comprehension, vocabulary, analysis, synthesis, and reasoning skills), Information and Ideas (measuring comprehension, analysis, and reasoning skills), Standard English Conventions (measure knowledge of Standard English sentence structure, usage, and punctuation), and Expression of Ideas (measuring the ability to improve the effectiveness of written expression).
