When you take an official ACT at a test center, you should bring:
- Your ticket
- Photo identification
- Number 2 pencils
- A watch (but not a smartwatch or one with an alarm)
- An approved calculator (view the official ACT Calculator Policy here)
- An approved computer, if testing on your own device (for more information, see here)
- Snacks
You should not bring:
- Books
- Notes
- Scratch paper
- Highlighters
- Pens
- Any electronic device, other than approved ones (see above)
- Any nicotine products
